Two Lost Dogs Seen on STX North Shore

I saw two apparently lost dogs while I was walking by Gentle Winds on Rt. 80 today around 7:15am.

The first dog was reddish-brown, long-haired, about 20 pounds, somewhat resembling a fox, and it was wearing a collar. It was friendly and it let me examine the collar, but there was no tag. The dog appeared to be less than 1 year old.

The second dog was black, about 20 pounds, but it didn’t come up to me for a closer look.

Both dogs appeared to be in excellent condition, like they had just run away.

They were heading west, towards Cane Bay, at a pretty good pace. I could not hold onto them or take them anywhere because I had no leash and no car, and they seemed pretty determined to keep going west.

If anybody knows who might own them, please let them know about this sighting.

I think I saw these dogs yesterday! If you want to, you can call Sugarmill vet center, and the animal well fare center, to see if there are any missing dog posters that match this description. Hope this helped!
