Where in western NC? I lived in Boone, NC for 16 years - went to Appalachian State University. I'm moving to St. Thomas in April.

Hey-

I attended UVI for awhile. If you have any specific questions feel free to e-mail me [email protected]. The best way to find out the information you are looking for is to just get on island. I would love to share my experiences with you-both good and bad if you are interested.

Melissa

Hey what's up

I will be starting at UVI next fall. I've lived on STT for about 2 months now, and my dad has been here for 2. Feel free to drop me a e-mail and I would be glad to help you out with any info.

I'm transferring to the University in the fall. I was wondering if anyone had any advice as to whether I should live in the dorms or find somewhere else to live. If I found somewhere else, what would be a good location, when should I start looking, and would I need a car? I'm really excited.

Wow, I didn't realize that there were so many people like me!! I, too, plan to move to STT for college (next fall). I, personally, prefer getting an apartment, so I don't have to pay the costs to fly home (Connecticut) during the breaks. Also, I want to establish residency, so living on my own would be the best way to do so. If anyone has any information/experiences that they wouldn't mind sharing with me, please PM me.

Thanks,
Kelsey
