1) Is this site still active?
I have not seen many posts recently.
2) Recommendations about relocation?
I am curious about moving to St. Thomas and how the housing economy is currently. Not to buy, but to rent (furnished).
What is life like year around?
Would anyone be willing to talk in person via email and or phone?

There are posts almost every day, so yes this site is still active.
But, most people are looking to move to St Croix so there aren't many inquiries for St Thomas.
Rentals have gotten extremely expensive post storms for the most part on STT.
You need to be more specific as to what you're looking for.

I'll add that this is a community board, so probably it is best to ask your questions here and have them answered in public. The questions you ask may be in the mind of another interested reader.
I'm not sure what you mean about what life is like year-around...Before the storms, there was "season" and a couple of vigorous shoulder seasons, then September. Because of a lack of hotel rooms, no one knows what the off-season will bring this year. If you don't work in tourism, life is more based on the school year. When school is out, there isn't as much traffic, LOL.
Do you have a skill that is needed? Teacher, nurse, doctor, construction, bookkeeping?
