Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how much the utilities run monthly for a 3 bedroom at pineapple village on st Thomas.

jas: It is really hard to compare utilities. Some people leave their a/c on all day, some use it only a few hours, some not at all. I know people who get WAPA bills of $700 and less than $100 for the same size space.

Our utilities run an average of $350-$450 for electric monthly. Our renters in our main unit are very aware of the high cost of electricity on island. We do get weekly renters in our studio that will leave the a/c on all day. I wish when we renovated that we would have just spent the money up front to put in the high efficiency units. The gas cylinders run about $90 and are changed about twice a year and only needed if you have a gas stove. If you conserve water you should be fine unless there is a lenghty drought. A load of water costs $350 and up depending on how much is delivered.
