Utility's for a Rental
What does it take to have all your utility's started? Does WAPA take care of everything or is each service separate talking about electricity, water, trash p/u, phone service etc.
Wapa will provide power and if you are using public water it will already be in place with a meter. Most rentals are using cistern water not Wapa water. A lease and a deposit will be necessary with your visit to the office.
Telephone is by Innovative - a lease and deposit needed at their office.
Trash p/u is not common and probably arranged with a private company but most people just take the trash to the closest public dumpster.
It depends on the situation at each particular rental property - many are just an apt. that is part of a private home - a lot of utilities are already in place at condo rentals - charged at a different rate.
Every utility service is a separate entity and fee.
It can add up as you must put down a deposit for every service you desire.
And............... hold on to your hat when you start getting your WAPA bills.
You'll be amazed at the $0.53 Kwh (presently) cost which continues to rise.
Most homes have cisterns but you may have to pay for your share of useage if the rental is metered.
Condo water usage runs about $0.05 per gallon.
Some rentals MAY INCLUDE utilities.
