what is the name and number of the vet that took over dr. houses practice?

Do you mean Dr Hess?
No one that I know has taken the practice over.
Been using Dr Casey @ Progressive 340-718-1256
My friend and I have rescued a couple feral puppies and Progressive did an excellent job at a fair price.

Dr House took over Island Animal Clinic from Dr Hess but has since left and went back to Texas. Rumor has it Island Animal will reopen this fall.

Dr. Michelle Mehalick is on her way back to STX to reopen the Island Animal Clinic. Many will remember her fondly when she worked for Hess. Here's her Facebook page for those of you with Facebook:
