Baby Killed In St. Thomas Shooting; Driver Injured But In Stable Condition

This is 35 violent death in STT this year. Represents 25% year to year increase. VI is already most deadly place in north and Central America. What to do to stop it? Why is gun violence so popular here like nowhere else in Caribbean?

There are many more victims who get shot but survive. They don't get much mention in the news.

On STT no one other than law enforcement is supposed to have guns.

The island is a poster child for Gun Control, where only the criminals have guns and the Police can not enforce the laws on the books.

One thing is certain, STT proves gun control does not work.

It's because it's a child and this will potentially hurt tourism. Who wants to bring their family to paradise when their kid is a potential target?
The criminals killing the criminals can be shrugged off by Mapp and his administration, but when it affects the tourism dollars and his next paid trip, of course he freaks out.
