I voted early today. Come on everybody let's do a last minute surge! Call all your friends and get them to vote today. Or better yet ask them to validate their email address for you and you vote using their address today and tomorrow. Voting takes about one minute per address.

THANK YOU to all who voted and all who kept the rally going! YAY for STX! and the VI! We really did great and most likely finished 7th! That is a wonderful achievement for our little island. I'm so proud of the shelter. The ASPCA is making awards based on a lot of different criteria and stats that they have collected over the last 3 months... I sure hope that we WIN some much needed monies for our shelter.
Have you heard of SIMBA? He is a large beagle/great dane/hound like dog that is currently at the shelter. He is beautiful but it appears he has never had a friendly touch in all his months of life...he is terrified of humans but is not aggressive at all... he just shivers and lets you pet him. He is the sweetest thing ever and is in search of a loving foster home. Ideally it would be one with a couple of other friendly dogs that could help him learn that we humans are fun and friendly... Know anyone who might be able to foster for a couple months? Spread the word... Simba needs some love. 😉
