I have posted here about this subject before, Where are some good places to hang out at, while visiting St Croix, Looking for good food, Atmosphere, and music.

Hmmm, seems to be a tight lipped place. Sorry for the inconveniences.

On the right side of this page, directly above your post, you will find a link to the USVI Vacation Message Board. If you ask your question there I'm sure you will receive replies.

Its a message board, your asking question at the time when most people are at work or getting ready for the weekend. Give it a couple of days before you complain about not getting responses. If a 30 minute wait is too much for you, trust me you are going to have massive issues with living on stx. I thought about answering your question later tonight when I had more time but with your whining response to waiting 30 minutes I am totally turned off. Listing all the great restr and bar to go to in stx is not an easy answer because there are many and they are all different for the most part and since you didn't set any parameters for you question it is a very general question that will require a long response or a very short quirt one. Good luck and learn how to calm down, relax and get along with the locals.

Frederiksted and Cristinsted both have nice places to hang out. There are bars on the water all over the island. The live music seems to jump around. Rainbow beach club one night, Off the Wall the next. When you go to one ask when they have music, or where are they playing to night. You will get friendly people wiling to tell.

Betty, Rest assured I posted here over a week ago, with the same request. I had one person reply with a recommendation for a dive shop, but I had very little response for my request for night life on ST X. Rest assured, When we relocate I will be more than glad to except your money in my place of business to help stimulate the local economy, Very easy going here no false pretences, I just tend to like people from all different walks of life, I'm not sure you could be the exception ! I have a feeling I could serve you quality food and you would still complain to me, Be sure to do your home work the next time you decide to bite my head off, For it has been 8 days and at least 30 minutes since I first posted, Just wondering when you will go Continental.

chockman if you had used the same posting that would have been clearer, looking back on your old one it seems like you got plenty of responses. With this new post you waited 30 minutes before you edit it with a complaint about the speedyness of your desired response. All I can say is I truely hope you get your wish and open a bar here.

Chockman, These are my favorite places to hang out...Off The Wall, for food, interesting conversation and music...Bogies, the locals hang at the bar at night and they have poker nites during the week...These are all in Cane Bay area... Sunset Grill has great food, near Spratt Hall, up from Fredericksted, also great place for sunsets...In Fredericksted, go to Blue Moon for great jazz and good food...Hope that helps... Oh, yeah, Cheeseburgers in Paradise has good food and music every nite...

54 downtown has no food but is a good late night party spot they open at 10pm and close at 4am most nights they have lots of live music and foam wrestling parties, joe and vickie are city people so it can be loud and noisy with the sidewalk outside turning into a part of the bar as well avoid moonrakers downtown and sharkeys over by gallows bay is like a sportsbar.

Thanks Betty, I'M not a cranky person really. And you do bring up some good points.
Charlotte and TRW, Thank you for all the info, In my last post I got a lot of great info about employment rights, Do's and dont's, but I got very little in the way of actual places to hang out at. Thank you all again very much. I will definitely check out as many as possible.
