Coming to Tutu. Sign's up, working feverishly. Across from Tutu Park Mall. Former Caribbean Auto location. What's next? Walmart?

Well, if it's like the states-- you can expect a CVS in a very near (and competing) location! 😉

I for one hope there is a CVS coming in right behind it, always got great discounts & money back from them. Would be nice to be able to go there to get stuff as opposed to having it shipped here!

This will help prices. K Mart, Doctor's choice etc. WATCH OUT.

Walgreens is in PR.

I am surprised that they are coming here. I would have thought that there is not enough business.

Now the COMING SOON sign will be tested. They started off good. Cleared the lot. Put on construction trailers. All ina short time. We have similar sign up the road on the Troutman Hy. that was put up almost a year ago. No road yet. Oh, that is goverment not private!

Can't wait.

Coming soon or "soon come" has a whole new meaning here. I like the signs that say something like "coming fall of 2010" that haven't broke ground.*-)

Thank you,Anita!

Best to you,too 🙂

Paula

PS-- A church in the middle of a small but busy town near us decided after many years to build a bigger building out of town. You wouldn't believe the bidding war that went on between Walgreen's and CVS for this prime property! Walgreens finally got it after paying (we heard) a few million! CVS immediately built down the street a few blocks. Walgreens is FULL all the time and CVS is not-- so I guess they knew something about that location...

I'll never forget the excitement when Sunny Isle was built on St Croix in late 1970! I know a lot of people didn't like it, but for a 16 yr old girl it was heaven! Now that I'm much older... when a chain store is built, I think about the local businesses 'progress' will hurt. But I think a Walgreens would be a plus. (it still seems surreal to see an IHOP sitting in the parking lot of Sunny Isle!)
