Wanting to Move to Caribbean

Hi, I am trying to pick the island I want to move to. Common sense would be USVI, since I am US citizen, and work for federal gov. I have put in for jobs there, but have some questions for the locals ther.

I have a car, used 98 saturn sl1, can a car with fender damage be shipped in or does the body need to be intact? car is paid off, has 104k miles, but runs great with no problems.

How much stuff fits into 40 gt container if I ship my car in it too? I have LR set, one queen bed, and clothes, kitchen stuff. BUT I don't have a problem starting there with just my clothes and car (IF car is worth having there)

Even though I have federal employment now, I also have marketing degree (BSBA) and retail/ba degree (AAS and BSBA). With 20 years of government exp, 6 in retail-fine jewelry-real estate sales, how good is the job market for me there?

And bringing preteen with me, how are schools? and basic 2 br apt or house rental cost average, dont need anything fancy, just in safe area.

Have you ever been to the USVI? You might want to visit before jumping right in.
