WAPA does not give a $#*@. Several months ago WAPA hooked up my water. They jack hammered a big chunk of asphalt in front of my place, installed some pipes, put some gravel in the hole and never paved over it. Well, the first big rain all of the gravel washed out of the hole to the bottom of the street. Now there are exposed water pipes in a gaping trench. We used to cringe when cars and trucks drove into the hole for fear the plastic pipes would break. We even tried to reinforce around the pipes with concrete but sure enough a truck drove over the hole Tue evening and broke the pipe spewing water all over the place. It was a WAPA truck. When I asked the guys if they knew that there is a broken pipe they said "Yeah we know". Well they did not report their blunder and water ran full force from the pipe for about 12 hours. No one at WAPA water even bothered to answer the phone until around noon the next day. The leak is fixed for now but guess who pays for all that water? They are in the street right now taking a break from the work they are not doing.

I feel your pain. When they put in a new telephone/electrical pole in front of my house they totally changed the lay of the land in front of our house. The first big rain we had this year I had water coming in my front door like it was a waterfall. They are evil and neglient and have no fear of loosing their jobs. Now I have to spend alot of money to fix it all.
