WAPA Water

I live in christiansted stx, we have a problem with our water-it is not working. does anyone else have this problem

It is a scheduled outage by WAPA.

Description:
Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority water technicians will be making critical repairs and replacing two malfunctioning valves on the water main feeding Christiansted town on Sunday, August 12, causing an interruption to water service during the work period scheduled for 1 to 11 p.m.
Customers located in Estate Richmond east to Strand Street and customers located in Questa Verde will experience water service interruption beginning at 1 p.m. Customers in Christiansted town from Strand Street east to Tide Village may experience water service interruption  as early as 4 p. m.  The Authority will make every effort to minimize the length of time of the water interruption and the size of areas affected.   Water customers are urged to utilize cisterns and to store water in anticipation of the interruption.
The intersection at West Street and Soboetker Lane, near the Watergut shanty will be closed to through traffic while work is in progress.  To ensure the safety of work crews, pedestrians and other motorists in the area, drivers are asked to proceed cautiously and to follow traffic directions.
WAPA appreciates the understanding of the public during this water service enhancement project.
