I would like to know how long it takes to have wapa turned on once you have went to the office with your proof of ownership, driver license and passport. Where is Wapa located at on the island of St Thomas? Any help would be appreciated!!!!!

If WAPA has been turned off I have no idea how long they will take to turn on. However if you are renting, in many cases you just need to go down to WAPA to change the billing information. To get to WAPA you go past the Motor Vehicle Bureau and Pueblo, past Crown Bay Marina, past the Crown Bay dock, and when the road makes a sharp right you make a left, and WAPA is in a building on the right.

Our WAPA was turned on 3 days after going down and giving a deposit. The time spent there setting up the account was less than an hour. The only thing, other than the address, will be the last tenants name.

Took me about a week. But it was a holiday week. Good luck finding a week without a holiday.
