On a pack of cigarettes there is a warning notice and I quote (SURGEON GENERA L'S WARNING: Smoking by Pregnant Women May Result in Fetal Injury, Premature Birth, And Low Birth Weight. Despite that warning some pregnant women smoke ( I said some). That is one of the benefits of living in an almost free society. The people that post questions on this board are thinking about moving here for various reasons such as: Employment, Schools, Church, Cost to Rent, Internet access, Pet Friendly, Auto rental/sale/insurance/ship costs, Food Costs, Utilities Cost, Where to Eat, Best Beaches and CRIME etc.
They get answers from people who live on the USVI past/present/and future. Their answers are based on experience and opinion. I would like to share with you from my experience, we do not have any trains. I would like to give you my opinion on crime (we have it)! I have not experienced it. However just like the Surgeon Generals Warning on smoking, I would like to see signs posted on the islands and the mainland to say;

LIZARD'S
WARNING
CRIME IS ALIVE AND WELL
THINK AND BE CAREFUL
