Good morning, coming back soon and wondering if anybody uses Britta water filters or refrigerator filters to help clean up cistern water. Would like to know if if they work well compared to buying bottled water. Thanks

i use britta water filters. i have used them for years. we also have a house filter system.

i do not buy bottled water unless i have guests and we need extra froze bottles. i take a frozen rubbermaid bottle , add water and take with me where ever i go. when i have visitors, they want their own frozen bottles.

have never had a problem

On the other side of the coin, I've been drinking unfiltered cistern water for over 30 years in many different locations and never had a problem. 😀

Bottled water (small carry sizes) just adds to pollution and the overwhelming amount of plastic waste on our island and planet.
They sell Britta water filters and many other types here on island.

We have a Seagull built into the sink. I would drink my cistern water, but we have neighbors who convinced us to get the Seagull many years ago...
