We are looking into a vacation home/investment property here (also looking at Pelican Cove on St CRoix). Would appreciate any comments about these,the area they are in, and the beach (Bolongo Bay Beach). I'm trying to gather as much info as possible prior to flying down there. Thanks.

Since I chose STT as my home, I always tend to rank it higher than STX or STJ. But, I CAN say that Watergate is a great place to live. Convenient location, good management, Bolongo is a nice beach and has good restaurant/bar, views of cruiseships coming and going. One of my best frineds owns a condo there and he is very happy with it. Also, with a higher demand for it, STT may be better from the investment standpoint.

You may want to check out www.hangyourhammock.com I agree that Watergate is a nice place to live. I have friends living there and the pools are nice!
