Since we haven't lived here long enough to experience anything other than Winter and Spring... Is this two weeks of non-stop rain and cloud cover what we have to "look forward to" all Summer long?! Our house leaks like a sieve and our pool is beginning to look like a pond. Kinda makes me want to head for the states and come back again when school starts!

No, this is not the norm at all , Lisa. We've had a huge tropical waved stalled over us. Our first tropical depression just formed in the western Caribbean. It will likely be named our first tropical storm - Alex - later tonight or tomorrow. We have another invest to our ENE that is supposed to track NW so it shouldn't give us anything more than rain and squalls. Enjoy the cool weather while you can. It's gonna get hot as hell and you'll have lots of beach weather in the days ahead.

The weather here is usually terrific, and I often tell people, "This is one of the 350 best days of the year!" This weather represents the other 15 days of the year. We don't usually get it all at once though.
