Hello Daniel,

Your age group in terms of evening/after work... hang out at bars, happy hour, beach volleyball at Iggies or Sapphire...

A little story...

Each year with season and new seasonal residents a group of young folks will form and they can often be found hanging out as mentioned at bars and happy hour... this group often stick together because they are young, because they are all new, because they are here to have fun, work and then go home, because they end up being room-mates or working at the same bars/hotels... whatever the case maybe. However they don't really mix with the permanent residents (even in the same or close age group) who also hang out at the same bars, maybe not as often but who might be involved with sports teams, helping with the boy scouts or girl scouts, coaching a team, know more locals and long time residents, lived on the island for a couple years ect. Its something that happens every year... now the reason I mention it is because if you are planning on living on island for a while and all your friends are short-term residents at some point you will have to look for new friends because when season ends the short-term residents head back to the states. So try and seek out friends in both groups 🙂

All the best!
