Does anyone know what just went boom about 5 minutes ago. We are in Estate St. John. It sounded pretty close, but couldn't tell what it sounded like. It was big! Power is still on, for us, and all the neighbors, so assuming it wasn't WAPA.

Did you find out what the noise was?? We are moving there for my hubby's job in the refinery...hope it wasn't that and it isn't a pattern like in TX and TN.

😀 Our refinery does NOT go "BOOM"....it has some EPA issues, however, which we want resolved.

There is an Air Force unit in Puerto Rico, it was most likely a sonic boom...happens occasionally.

When you move here, try to be a part of the community and not a HESS/HOVENSA wife like so many of them...just saying.

No sirens, no smoke smell, no activity of any sort. It didn't sound like a sonic boom. It was too low to the ground sounding, if that makes sense. Haha...maybe I was at the rum factory with Susan.

😮 😉 my truck was like that for a while, hole in the manifold. I kinda miss the noise, to be honest, but I didn't want a ticket.
