Part of coming here meant selling all of my guitars and amps because I needed the money and they were too much to ship, but I'm a fish out of water without a guitar. Someone recommended modern music in havensight but that turned out to just be a cd store. Anyone know of a shop that sells instruments, or is this something I'm going to have to get shipped here from the mainland?

Did you look upstairs at Modern Music? When I was looking for guitar picks and strings someone told me to go there. I walked in and just saw CDs. Turns out that there is an upstairs. I *think* they had guitars (it was a year or two ago) and they also had school band instruments. They had Elixer strings and guitar paraphernalia.
I doubt they had much of a selection of guitars, though. Nothing like Elderly Instruments, for sure 🙂

They do have a selection of guitars, drums, etc instruments upstairs. My brother brought his guitar and bought an amp at Modern Music. If you are not too picky, you should find a guitar you like.

Just got back from havensight with my new guitar and amp. Modern music doesn't sell them anymore, but they directed me to this place called Music Shop II or something like that by where the ships dock. I'm insanely picky but I knew I wasn't walking into a nice US music shop so I knew I'd have to take what I can get and I got an alright guitar that will hold me over til I can afford to have something nice shipped here, thanks for the suggestions.
