Okay. Hi ALL!
So, I just got back from our first to the VIs. I have dreamnt about it and now i am really hooked. I have a background in hospitality/resturants, customer service and veterinary medicine...so I am not really worried about getting a J O B...yet. I am worried about where to live with my pets. I wanted a villa or house but my price range looks like a condo...I would rather OWN than rent...

We stayed in my sisters Elysian time share and we really enjoyed the Cowpet bay, Sapphire bay area...generally Red Hook STT (STJ was my first choice but....that will have to wait).

I have been checking condo listings I got while ther and I understand the Pavillions & Pools condo property is within walking/near Sapphire bay.... INFO and FEEDBACK Please!!!

Does anyone live or own there?????
Does the property allow pets (2 dogs under 15 lbs...peepee pad trained)?
What do the monthly condo fees run??
Is it safe for a single woman.....How upkept is the property...???

I do want to know about a certain condo complex...Pavillions & Pools for the purchase of a condo???
After driving ALL aroung that area i guess we just mised the complex....It is small (compared to others) only 25 units.

I really thank YOU! Fill me in.
Amy

I don't know what the condo fees are there but there are always units for sale. One thing to check with a realtor re any condo is not only what the condo fees are but the history of assessments. It doesn't matter much if the fees are low if there have been several expensive assessments levied against each owner. Good luck!

I inquired into P & P a few years ago and found at that time that owners were limited in the number of days a year they could occupy their units. If that hasn't changed, or I misunderstood, they might not be a good place for a full time resident.

I am a realtor and would be happy to help you find a condo. You can call me at 340-514-4309 or look at my website www.stthomasvirginislandrealtor.com. The fees at Pavilions and Pools are $1200/month. They can be owner occupied now but the last time I check the condo dues were higher for owner occupied units. If you are very interested in these condos I can check for you. Donna Wheeler

I dealt with Donna Wheeler when I bought my condo here..(she was the sellers agent, (but more helpful than my agent), Thanks again Donna......As far as Pavilions and Pools, that was on my original list, however, when I inquired with some friends that lived here, I was told they had some issues with breakins. That was last December. Also, as a hotel type property, many of the units are vacationers who like to stay up late an party.....possibly a bit loud at times....Good Luck!
