Where did you buy your Kindle?

I just checked out http://www.shipito.com/ . Shipping from their location in Torrance, CA to USVI would be $57 to $75 via FedEx or DHL (no USPS), taking 1 to 5 days. This assumes a $250 package that is 12x12x6, just as an example (I don't know what a Kindle box costs or measures). There's also a mail out fee per package of $8.50, and probably customs/duties to deal with.

If you're in a hurry, and have the money, and can't get the merchant to ship direct to USVI, then it seems like a good option. Otherwise, I'd use VI Cargo http://vicargo.com/ , which is slower and cheaper.

What I also found out, in my research...Kindle is coming out with a new Kindle/Android in Oct. @ $250. I'll wait for that, and pick it up in the states. I guess if you keep waiting for the new technology, you never buy anything, because it's always right around the corner! LOL
