I am doing the seaplane to STT in the morning to Pick up my daughter from the airport (ferry is still down) and have been requested (read not allowed back on stx) to pickup whoppers. I will be between the seaplane and the airport - I know that there is fast food before you head up Ruphune hill way (sorry bout the spelling), but how about the other way?

BK is.... or was (last time I was there) along the water front. If you are looking at town from the seaplane dock, it would be more towards the right. Hope this helps.

Then again if things change like they do in town, I may be wrong. Could you convince youe friends into a supreme pan pizza fron Pizza Hut instead?

The closest BK is in Puerto Rico -- there isn't one here on STT.

There is a Micky D's in Frenchtown, right next to the seaplane and a Wendy's in Int'l Plaza where the Hard Rock used to be. Burger King left after Hugo in '89 I think! Or maybe Marilyn in '95. Can't remember, had only been there once!

There is also a KFC across from Nisky Center just in case you are really low on your weekly transfat intake. 🙂

Methinks helpful resident posters are being unduly challenged - NO, THERE IS NO BURGER KING ON ST THOMAS! And then they wonder why we sometimes get testy...

EE: I don't know what ROFL means! But. for the benefit of everyone we don't got no ARBY and we don't got no Krispy Kreme and we don't got no Dunkin' Donuts and we don't got no Taco Bell.

We DO have lots of MacDonalds, Wendy's, Pizza Huts. And they're all pretty awful. And thus this post will probably continue ad nausea as everyone puts in their two cents about which alternative tacky fast food alternative is the best. Aaaargh!

NO, say it 'aint so?!?! Aren't they the same as Wendy's, et al.? Why not at least bring some variety, like a Taco Bell.
Where, pray tell, will this new joint be located?

Jack In The Box, whatever that is - who really gives a damn. If their product appeals they will stick around, and if the don't make it then they'll be off in a relatve heartbeat.

Leave it all behind when you come here! Indulge in pates, goat water, fungi, stew chicken, roti, etc.

I am so toadally gone right now.

Cheers,

Stranger things have happened but I find it incredibly difficult to believe that Jack-in-the-Box is coming to St. Thomas.

Just what I needed a good RonTFL! Not only your new acronyms STT but the whole Jack in the Box. I've heard of it but wouldn't go out of the way for it. Not in Toledo, but I won't miss most of it anyways. I know you got Chef Boyardee at the Cost u Less. (Sorry used to Kroger). But I will also drink cold instant coffee for breakfast as long as its not decaffeinated for the first sip of the day. I've already decided that if I can't get it there I don't need it here so I am beginning my weaning period. No AC (okay for the most part! Hubby decides too!) No steak, Chinese food, (Although I did go to taco bell today and Its all Onika's fault I believe. And I live 1/4 mile from BK. Sorry LFM, by the time some whopper got to you, I don't think you'd want It. Most lights stay out, getting rid of all the cool cable vision stuff. No AC in the car (good time to get used to the heat), Only flushing when you have too ( Now I know you all appreciate that one!!! 🙂 Drinking only rum and whatever is on sale... Well the list goes on....

Yesterday there was a woman carrying 5 boxes (big ones) of Krispy Creme off the plane when I picked up my daughter. I told her there was someone here who loved her dearly.
