Where to stash the guests?

Hi:

Any ideas on where to stash beloved guests who are kind of a handful to host? We've no space for them (T.G), so we'll need to send them to other accommodations. It'll be their first time to STT. Though a car would be good for them to have, it'd only mean we have to convoy around with them every day (They're not too adventurous on their own in new places.) They love lots of conveniences and a party atmosphere (we're peace and quiet loving do it yourselfers), and they and their two under age 6 kids stay up 'til all hours (we're early to bed.) You get the picture--we want to be good hosts in an arms-length sort of way.

Where do we send them to stay? And oh, they want to come during the Christma$ holidays. Any moderately priced ideas ?

During Christmas? That's rough. What area of the island? First thing that came to my mind was Bolongo since they have things going on all the time there, it's right on the beach & it's less expensive but nothing will be too cheap at that time of the year. Would they prefer a condo since they'll have kids with them? They'd save a lot having even just a refrigerator.

Lola: Have you checked the Island Trader? There are usually several places advertised "having guests but don't have room?" or such. Call now for Christmas!

Thanks for your reply.

I'll take any part of the island. I've never stayed at Bolongo myself--I'll check it out.

I have a two bedroom vacation rental in Frenchman's Bay. Kitchen, pool, view. Large place and only $175/night for four people. Look at www.stthomasvirginisland.com
