Where to stay on STT?

I know this sounds like a more appropriate question for the vacation board, but I'm actually not coming to STT for vacation. I'm coming down in July to take the Bar exam before I move to STX in August. Can anyone recommend a place to stay that is close (preferably within walking distance) of the Alexander Farrelly courts building? I was thinking within walking distance so I wouldn't have to worry about a cab getting me there on time. (I'll have enough to worry about just taking the test!) I had read that the Holiday Inn could be a little loud, but it looked like it would be close to the court. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Emily

Thanks - I really appreciate it. Nice to know I have some options! Most people probably want to be close to the beach, but I'll have that soon enough. 🙂

TX girl: In case Mr billd wrote to you also... his place(s) near Sapphire Beach are nowhere near the area you need. Crystal Palace and the other places downtown are convenient and, regardless of billd's opinion, great for your needs.

And Islander, if billd is paying for advertising, I apologize.
