I have two children and I was wondering if anyone could tell me which island would be best to move to as far as schools and which is the most reasonable for living costs? I am a nurses assistant and would love to move to an island, but wanting to cross all my X's before hand. I have looked on-line but any other info anyone has would be appreciated.

That is a hard question to answer here since a person on STX would have no knowledge of STT. I have friends who just moved here to STX with a 7 year old and a3 year old. They are taking in all the interests with their children. They went to the turtle nesting night that SEA put on and touched a turtle. These people were from Illinois and would not normally be able to do that. There is a young moms group on the east end that meets weekle as well so anyone interested could be a part of that. The mom is home schooling the 7 year old and that girl is very smart. Right now I think your best bet for costs is STX.

I think if you research both islands, you will find that everyone recommends private schools.
