Does anyone know what happened to Whitecliffs? Seems they went out of business. Any recommendations for window replacement/installation on STX? Thank you.

We used Castle Glassworks and were very happy with the service. Polite, prompt, professional and delivered all that was promised.

Confirm that Castle Glassworks is the best. They do all the replacement of any window at Gentle Winds Condo units or office buildings. Anything from residential to commercial glass windows, even car, truck, van windows. Ray & Liz Smith are the owners and are super.

Whitecliffs went out of business - failed to run the business properly.

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use whitecliffs. They have poor customer service and their owner is drunk half the time. They are also out of business.

Castle Glass is hands down the best. Call Ray, his cell phone number is 626-0728. Otherwise, you can talk to Matt at the main office. But, Ray is the one who will actually come do the estimate, so best to just call him directly. Castle Glass is just awesome -- I can't say enough good things about them. 'Nuff said.

Roughly a year ago, Whitecliffs became Maxie-Vue. Same location, and same or similar business, but different name and owner. I used Maxie-Vue for re-screening, and they did it well, although that is not a complex task.

I had White Cliffs do some work for me last year and they did a great job.
When I went back to have some more work done they where now Maxie - Vue.
I stop in twice and both times the guy running the place was either drunk or stoned.
I felt very uncomfortable leaving them any thing to work on so I went to Kokomo's

Does Castle Glass Make screen windows?

They only deal in glass, plexiglas, etc. Bunkers of St Croix makes the frames for either doors or windows and I'm pretty sure they have the screening material as well. They are across from Reliable Rental not far from Castle Glassworks.
