WOMEN’S MARCH SET FOR SATURDAY TERRITORY-WIDE

Speedy,

None of the articles show that Hillary directed any actions. Its only natural that the leadership of the party would favor someone who had been a lifelong democrat and has as great of a resume as she has. Bernie was an independent and only recently converted to the Democrat party so why would the DNC leadership trust him.

The Bottom line is, as repeat what President Obama said. No one in the history of the country who ever ran for President was as qualified as Mrs. Clinton. How she lost an election after defeating the celebrity by 3 million votes I find that astounding. If this happened in a so called third world country people would be complaining about how corrupt and backward that society must be to allow such a situation.

Once again I've just come to the conclusion that Trump supporters are just STUPID (other people may think they are bigots, sexists and other bad things but I just think they are illiterate and just plain STUPID)

Trump supporters are stupid?

Have you watched and listened to the protesters when they are interviewed?
Most of them sound dumb as a load of firewood.

Did you listen to Hillary at any of her campaign rallies?
All I heard was a lot of abstract terms like
"Unity" "Inclusion" "Hope" " Free Stuff"

Did you hear her say anything of substance about making one thing better in this country?

Hillary sounded like she was running for governor of the VI.

Ashley Judd sounded like a genious.
Madonna is obviously a brain surgeon.

Yeah Trump supporters look pretty stupid compared to that I guess.

I watched some live streaming of the protests. Some of those interviewed did sound dumb - just as dumb as some of those interviewed at the trump and Clinton rallies. That's not a valid measure because interviewers will nearly always pick the interview that sells ads and clicks (See Big Joe). But many were articulate and sensible. I also watched some Clinton and Trump speeches. I heard her talk about her specific plans for health care, crime, child care, jobs, immigration, foreign policy, dealing with college debt, and more. I heard nothing but vague promises from trump, and nothing on his web site that spelled it out for me.

I actually caught Madonna's speech. I'm not a fan, and was disturbed by her sound bite statements. But if you listened to her full talk, she didn't sound dumb at all.

I would never go so far as to say trump supporters are stupid. I don't believe that at all, and I doubt any study would confirm that. But I will say that they allowed their individual priorities to overrule common sense, and allowed confirmation bias to ignore the obvious con trump was playing. Did you know that some of the Macedonians stated that they couldn't get the traction on their fake news for liberals so they gave up? And Facebook measured the number of shares of fake news, and conservatives won that statistic by a wide mile?

~~ Still following him on Twitter daily, and following the press briefings and interviews, and, especially after the seriously scary Muir interview, more mortified and embarrassed and concerned for the US than I was the day after the election. We now have a Nutcase in Chief. We'd be much better off with Nixon in charge.

This entire thread proves the point that the "Women's March" (now "Women's March Movement") has nothing to do with women. It is another method to tear the country apart "by any means possible" from the inside. Maybe Hillary did win.

another speaker they had at the dc protest was donna hylton. im sorry, but the girl should still be in jail and should never be put on stage anywhere to speak for anyone EVER

she tortured a homosexual man for about 20 days and then killed him.

https://spectator.org/the-women-movements-embrace-of-psychopath-donna-hylton/

the above is a bit more detail about the atrocities she inflicted on a human being. I guess because the person was a man, its okay? kind of like that lady down here who set her ex boyfriend on fire because he was leaving her-he later died and the womens coalition stood by her. NO EXCUSE

It was called "Women's March" because it was started and sponsored by women's rights groups. Nothing more. The fact that it grew beyond that speaks volumes. The country was already being torn apart. The march exhibits and calls attention to the existing divide.

"womens rights" groups are just another tool of the divide and conquer tactic.

Women have more rights than men, its ridiculous that they act like they are oppressed.. every family I know of is REALLY run by the woman of the household.

if the regressive would just do a little self analysis maybe it wouldn't be so godamn predictable.

I believe the women's march fell squarely under rule 11 & 12....

so predicable...

Once again, what does this have to do with moving to the USVI?

Please move post elsewhere... again!

I didn't see anyone marching yesterday in support of the March For Life; apparently free birth control/abortions are more important than living breathing babies.

I'm so glad that all those unwanted living babies are adopted, loved, supported, educated, well fed and cared for.

Pro life - "care for the foetus, until it's born" is the mantra.
Then babies are abandoned to orphanages, foster care, if lucky and if luckier they may go to a good home. Where are all the people who are "pro life" then? Such FRIGGING hypocrisy.

I don't believe anyone has the right to dictate what a individual woman must decide to choose in the event of an unwanted pregnancy if men who engage in sexual activity without protection aren't criminally charged, fined or jailed.

I don't have to agree with abortion but I do agree that a woman has the right to choose. The government, especially republicans, should not be meddling. Roe vs Wade settled that, unless you want to see women dying, again, by coat hangers and butcher's.

The government should not prohibit people from doing anything to their own bodies, ever.

First because prohibition not only doesn't work, it makes the situation worse by creating black markets and the crime that goes along with them.

I'm so glad that all those unwanted living babies are adopted, loved, supported, educated, well fed and cared for.

0-6 are the most important years of anyone's life, it's when your subconscious mannerisms are learned.

Ever been to the projects?

I Think we could fund other programs than abortions, like in the projects, where it's desperately needed to demonstrate the benefits of functioning in/with society and how ethics and morals pay off and give a much happier life over all, plus less violence .

I'd be ok with helping fellow humans out in a positive way like that.

In fact, If I wasn't forced to pay taxes I could do a lot more good things than I do now.

But for some reason people think the government should do that kind of thing (The government that royally screws up everything it's ever involved in).

one of these days more people will catch on.

Just as an aside: When does the woman's right to choose end? At 8 1/2 months gestation? At 18 years post?

LOL

Roe v Wade: Key US abortion ruling

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/49315.stm

Excerpt:
"Trimester system

The case created the "trimester" system that:

gives American women an absolute right to an abortion in the first three months of pregnancy
allows some government regulation in the second trimester of pregnancy
declares that states may restrict or ban abortions in the last trimester as the foetus nears the point where it could live outside the womb; in this trimester a woman can obtain an abortion despite any legal ban only if doctors certify it is necessary to save her life or health."

Speaking of taxes, just think of how much taxes would be right now had it not been for Planned Parent Hood, I'm not fond of the group, but it is a necessary evil because without them, look how many babies would have been born that the tax payer would be on the hook paying for in the end.

i am not a fan of abortion. i do think that the people who helped create the baby should decide together if abortion is right for them ( yes both the mother and father should decide)

and like alana says, there are too many unwanted children already out there.
until all children have loving homes to call their own i will support a couples right to choose abortion
