I asked at the dry cleaners once, and they said it's impossible.

Mold can't be removed from fabric or leather. Even if you manage to make the item temporarily appear mold-free, the mold is still there and will infest other nearby items.

We found that on white items like towels, pillowcases and washcloths (and most white blouses) if you spray some "Tilex" generously on both sides of the stain and immediately put it in a liitle warm water with detergent and let it soak for about an hour followed by scrubbing and rinsing well and drying it in the sun it will take out the majority of the stain. In our opinion it works very well......

Whenever we return from the mainland there are usually several items that have this mold even though all were clean when we left. Have no idea what it actually is.............

Thanks! The Yellow Out from Gallows Bay worked. I'm amazed as nothing has ever work for me on this before. It did turn the navy trim to brown on the white tshirt but that's better than throwing away the shirt.

The "Tilex "suggestion would work on rust as it contains acid(which dissolves rust).
Interesting on the yellow out...
What is the yellow stain composed of?
And, what ingredient is in Oxy?
