Trump was always a Trojan horse for the 0.01 percent. And now he’s forming a government of, by, and for the very elites he campaigned against.

Fact checkers confirm Hillary Clinton is more honest than any of her 2016 opponents

AlterNet is a liberal activist news service and a project of the non-profit Independent Media Institute that Launched in 1998. Very strong left wing bias. Needs fact checking.

Use this one at your own risk - even though the TBT is a "bit to the left" Politifact and its truth-o-meter are pretty fun.

I did. She told the truth the majority of the time.

Then I would question your source for fact checking. A MAJORITY of the time?

LOL! Of COURSE you're going to question it. I'd expect no less. I read a number of fact checking sources, and then, when so inclined, read how they made their conclusion, and then look at the sources they used. For the "majority" label, I use the rankings on Politifact. So I'll just sit back and wait for a predictable. "It's a left leaning site, so you can't trust it" comment from someone.

So, why are you deflecting from my deflection question?

If you go to the article it has the link to fact check or you can go to snopes and check it out for yourself.

STEWED CONCH
3 cans conch or 2 lbs. fresh conch, precooked
2 lg. onions, chopped
4 sweet peppers, chopped
4-5 stalks celery, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. paprika
1 clove garlic, minced or garlic powder or Adobo
Olive oil, enough to cover bottom of pan
2 (#202) cans stewed tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
Trinidadian pepper sauce, to taste
Cover bottom of a large deep skillet with olive oil. Saute vegetables until onions are transparent. Add paprika and mix. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until tomatoes break down and sauce thickens. Cook 1 1/2 hours. This is even better if allowed to set overnight and reheated before serving next day. Serve over rice. Serves 4-6. This is a truly original recipe.

So you all have finally come full circle. This was my post from Nov 10.

LOL

These guys just elected an oligarch. I'm sure Trump has all of our best interest at heart.

Unfortunately, its not about Dems or Repubs - color of skin - gender. Those are distractions to keep us from understanding it's about an elite class and the rest of us.

HRC was no different than Trump - just more predictable.

Pan fried king fish

Ingredients

King fish- 2 steaks
Coconut Oil- 5 tbsp or enough to pan fry (or add olive oil)
To marinate:

Ginger-Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Chili powder- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Fennel powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Ground pepper- 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Instruction

In a small bowl, combine the above mentioned ingredients to marinate with little water to make a thick paste.
Spread the paste over the king fish and marinate it for 30 minutes or longer.
Place a non-stick fry pan over medium heat.
Add olive oil, don’t add too much as in frying.
Place the king fish over the oil and pan fry it till the bottom side turns golden brown in color.
Flip it over and pan fry the other side as well.
Transfer to a kitchen paper towel.
You can garnish the pan fried king fish with cut onions, tomatoes, lemon wedges etc.
Tips:

Make sure you salt the fish well. Adjust the ground pepper and chili powder according to your needs.
If you prefer fry it instead of pan frying.

Wonder if this affects the VI Tax code as it does Guam.

Tax Commission: GovGuam could lose $126M in tax revenue under Trump plan

"Unqualified", there isn't any qualifications to be president.

Perhaps there should be a requirement that the candidate pass the same citizenship test that naturalized citizens are required to pass. Melania apparently passed it. Wonder if the Donald could without cramming.

A psychological evaluation would be a good requirement for starters.
Then a lie detector test.
Doubt donald could pass a citizen test without cheating.

If most of us took that test on the spot wouldn't pass it.
mike

Quite possibly true but most of us don't run for POTUS or any elected office for that matter. Those are the folks I'm more concerned with understanding the constitution.

Well, the VI uses the federal tax code and tax forms for income tax but all the tax money actually stays in the VI. So if everyone pays less federal income tax according to Trump's plan then that means less money for the VI. But Trump is going to cut spending so less money will be needed. Oh wait, he's cutting federal spending, not VI spending. So how is that math going to add up?

JOHNNY CAKE!!

Serves 4

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2-4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 tablespoons room temperature butter
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil for frying Mix dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and work in the butter with your fingers. Add 1 cup of water to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Sprinkle some extra flour onto a flat surface and knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Feel free to sprinkle additional flour on the surface as needed. Allow the dough to sit in a clean bowl covered with a towel for at least 30 minutes. After dough has rested, heat the oil in frying pan over medium heat. Create small balls of dough and roll out the dough into circles on a lightly-floured surface with a rolling pin or the palm of your hand. Be sure to not make them too thin. Pierce each piece with a fork or sharp knife several times and then drop in hot oil. Fry on each side until golden brown. Allow to cool and drain on paper towel or brown paper bag

Johnnycakes in America are not the same as what we call Johnny Cakes here.
