Both parties are broken and run by idiots. I realized that years ago and became a libertarian.

Democrat twits:
REP. MAXINE WATERS (D-CA): "We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these jobs losses, over 170 million jobs that could be lost – and so he made it very clear he’s not opposed to cuts but cuts must be done over a long period of time and in a very planned way rather than this blunt cutting that will be done by sequestration."
Only 143 million people are currently employed in the US today, and Obama is the one who proposed sequestration.

Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, "[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door."

More informed words on gun control from the VP. "Gabby Giffords, my good friend, was shot and mortally wounded," Biden claimed.
Biden made the comment as he tried to gin up support for gun control.

Giffords is still alive! Not mortally wounded.

I could go on for pages with Pelosi gaffes. Like her comment on Obamacare. "We have to pass it to find out what's in it."

Both parties are full of idiots. Just check out the FB page "Stupid things Democrats Say".

unfortunately the libertarian offerings are slim & ignored.

I am also as libertarian as I can be, it's the only thing that makes sense to me.

Why would anyone vote for this Democratic Twit???

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said on Sunday: Sometimes government does know best. And in those cases, Americans should just cede their rights.

“I do think there are certain times we should infringe on your freedom,” Mr. Bloomberg said, during an appearance on NBC. He made the statement during discussion of his soda ban — just shot down by the courts — and insistence that his fight to control sugary drink portion sizes in the city would go forth.

Yet another reason I stay away from the east coast... how can someone like bloomberg hold office?!

sure banning some sizes of drinks seems innoculous, but they don't call it "tip-toe-totalitarinism" for nothing... boil a frog etc....

VT is now trying to pass a beverage tax. Anything that has sugar added to it is subject to a hefty tax. We haven't gotten to the banning of large drinks yet. But VT is a uber liberal state, and super crunchy. So it's only a matter of time before they do. I don't think the tax will pass this go round, mainly because they are also pushing a new gas tax on us as well as a few other tax hikes.
