One down - several to go. I'm sure this was not an isolated incident.

Just the tip of the iceberg I'm certain. Alvin was the low hanging fruit. He'll squeal like a pig and give up the rest.

Speaking of squealing...he's gonna need some lubricant were he's going.

I don't believe he's heading to Golden Grove. More likely a Federal facility. Even if convicted, odds are he won't do any time.

I think they should go after the staff that took the raises & paid him the bribe $. Then tell ALL legislative staff that they have 1 week to report this type of bribery with no prosecution. I'm guessing that would be like rats deserting a sinking ship.

Does anyone know the policy on retirement benefits for gov't workers convicted of a crime like theft of gov't money? Or, where does one find that info?

I rather doubt that retirement benefits would be affected since this is a benefit pension plan paid into by government employees through GERS and administered by them. GERS would be the entity to go to for clarification.
