The most recent event in the states...........killing innocent kids................it's beyond my comprehension................what an awful thing to do............and WHY? What has a 5 or 6 year old done? Not brush their teeth? Pee on the toilet seat?
It's so sad..............my heart hurts............prayers and thoughts with the families...........so sad............so sad. 🙁

We ALL need to write to our representatives and demand a federal prohibition on automatic weapons.

Blu, with all due respect, I am not sure if was "automatic weapons" to blame. I agree that they are quick, easy and deadly. I do believe that a lot of mentally disturbed people fall through the cracks, violent video games and lack of parenting and dicipline are to blame in a lot of cases. We have taken prayer out of school, dicipline away from the parents and our judicial system has become so lame that a perp can claim "abuse as a child" to get away with horrific crimes...............it saddens me to see our country go to hell in hand basket...........:-(

the shooter had three guns, two were handguns, those were used for the murders. one was an automatic, that one was found in the car.
we need better mental health care reform. this shooter and the one in colorado were mentally unstable. this shooter took his mothers legally owned guns and killed her.

My heart grieves for those poor babies, and for all of the other victims. This is just horrible.

I can't comprehend how the families will be able to endure the pain and suffering, brought by this tragic, and horrific act.

I'm not sure if gun control is the anwer. Fully automatic weapons yes. There are alot of people that own guns legally. Any one of them could snap. It's recognizing the warning signs and doing some thing about it. The idiot that shot Congresswoman Gabby Gifford exibited signs for a long time according to his classmates. No one did anything about it. This kid did not go off because somebody pee'd in his cornflakes yesterday morning. There had to be signs.:-(
