Obama has already spent $120 million more fighting medicinal marijuana than the Bush administration did. "Change" (verb): to do exactly what the idiot before you did, but worse

Fact: The Obama Administration Has Spent $120 Million More Than Bush Fighting Medicinal Marijuana

To be specific, the administration has spent $289 million dollars fighting medicinal marijuana policies in the last four-and-a-half years. This breaks down to over $100,000 per-day spent fighting citizen-approved medicinal marijuana policies. For pro-legalization voters that elected President Obama in hopes of seeing federal marijuana policies loosened, this has to be disappointing.

What’s more disappointing is that in just four-and-half-years, the Obama administration has spent $120 million more fighting medicinal marijuana than the Bush administration did over eight years.

Obama is a liar.

You must have voted for him for you to be so upset about this. So sit back and enjoy what you have. This really is disrespectful to a President. I didn't vote for him, but I would NEVER post on an open public forum that anyone was a liar must less our president. SHAME ON YOU.:-X

He's not a liar. He's just delusional. A couple of years ago he stated in a press conference that the public sector was doing just fine. While the unemployment rate was almost 15%.

Hey I call it like I see it - and the way I see it is that Obama is a liar, plain and simple.

No one gets respect from me just because of who they are. Respect has to be earned.

Not to mention there's this thing called the 1st amendment. If someone doesn't like our opinion of him it's just tooooo bad. Isn't it.
Last week someone jumped down my throat because she's an Obama fan and I don't like him. She can go soak her head in the toilet. Last I checked I don't have to like anybody I don't want to. Do I?

Nothing in this world gets or deserves blind loyalty..

Call a spade a spade, call a liar a liar.

I could go on... and on... and on....

BUT in reality, he's the product of a broken system, all presidents function basically like this (though it's gotten worse and worse as time goes on).

BTW, I got this and "Six blatant lies about spying from the NSA up to Obama (video)" over in the other thread from the very left wing web site boingboing.net

Obama is not making very many people happy with his policies.

You don't have to respect the person in office, but you should always respect the office. That's not blind loyalty, it's called patriotism.

Patriotism & nationalism were concepts pioneered by the Nazi party. Blind following of an "office" or "Nation"/State" with no critical thinking involved and massive social pressure for the target audience (ie the civilians police them selves with statements very much like the one you made) is idea for fascist corpocracy and the control structure that implements them.

Question everything, always & especially if you are told (by inference or other suggestion) not to.

Why I changed my mind on weed
By Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent

I apologize because I didn't look hard enough, until now. I didn't look far enough. I didn't review papers from smaller labs in other countries doing some remarkable research, and I was too dismissive of the loud chorus of legitimate patients whose symptoms improved on cannabis.

Instead, I lumped them with the high-visibility malingerers, just looking to get high. I mistakenly believed the Drug Enforcement Agency listed marijuana as a schedule 1 substance because of sound scientific proof. Surely, they must have quality reasoning as to why marijuana is in the category of the most dangerous drugs that have "no accepted medicinal use and a high potential for abuse."

They didn't have the science to support that claim, and I now know that when it comes to marijuana neither of those things are true. It doesn't have a high potential for abuse, and there are very legitimate medical applications. In fact, sometimes marijuana is the only thing that works. Take the case of Charlotte Figi, who I met in Colorado. She started having seizures soon after birth. By age 3, she was having 300 a week, despite being on seven different medications. Medical marijuana has calmed her brain, limiting her seizures to 2 or 3 per month.

Don't trust the cops

owever, state officials have defended this practice of providing marijuana to members of the public, which they say is an important part of their Drug Recognition Evaluator Training Program. Which is used to prevent marijuana from being provided to members of the public.

haha.... irony is ironic....

It's a crime that this plant is kept by force from humanity.

if the USVI legalized it and leveraged it the economy would instantly turn around.....
