Available March 8, 2010

I have a large partly furnished house in a secluded upscale area east of Frederiksted called Estate Little Lagrange. The upstairs offered for rent has three bedrooms, two baths (main bedroom has both a toilet and bidet) with two wash basins in each bathroom, very large living room with vaulted ceilings, kitchen and laundry room. I live in the downstairs apartment and any maintenance problems are taken care of immediately by myself or professionals. There are plenty of parking areas around the house. Furnishing includes a full bed and large wraparound office desk (now being used in 2 sections) along with a huge wicker couch, chairs, table and standing shelves. The main bedroom has air conditioning. There are Hunter ceiling fans everywhere in the house, with the air-flow going through the house at this elevation usually just the ceiling fans are needed.

There is plenty of closet space. A shipping container is near the driveway for storage. The cistern is 50,000 gallons and the water is very clean. There are easy to close and open aluminum hurricane shutters on doors and windows where needed. We use solar hot water and there are many solar voltaic panels on the roof together with state-of-the-art batteries and inverter that keep the cistern pump and other essentials running whether or not WAPA lines are working so that there is always running hot and cold water etc during extended WAPA outages. The house elevation is about 500 feet up on a hill facing West with unobstructed views of the ocean and Frederiksted 2 miles west as seen from the front porch, master bedroom and living room which are breathtaking. You can see photos of the views along with the rest of the house inside and out here:

There is a new asphalt road coming all the way up the hill to the your driveway and there are no other houses along this road all the way up. The house is surrounded by 4+ acres of rain forest that are part of the property with many more forested acres surrounding us. There are no neighbors here other than myself downstairs and another tenant living in a small house much further up the hill. If you are interested in visiting give me a call at 1 340-772-9025 or e-mail me at [email protected] .

NOTE:

The $1700 rent includes electricity and water as well as access to free 1MB* high speed Internet via my wireless router. You'll also have access to Dish Network. Also included are the use of a new heavy-duty large capacity washer, new large capacity refrigerator, microwave oven and gas range/stove which has a newly filled tank of propane There are almond, soursop, lime and ginip trees along the road leading up and you are welcome to the Carambola fruit growing along the driveway.

Feel free to make a reasonable offer, I'd like to have this place leased by April for one year or longer and prefer non-smokers.

I rented this place in January to two young women who took it as roommates and unfortunately one of them had to leave while the one remaining plans to move out because she can't afford living here by herself. If anybody is interested in becoming her new roommate for $800 a month either PM me or call at 772-9025 area code 340. Non-smokers preferred and pets welcome

This place is still available and I'm dropping the price from $1700 down to $1600 per month.
