Apartment Needed...

Hi and welcome to The VI! I mean that genuinely and a little tongue 'n cheek too. Rents are high here compared to a lot of places stateside. What price range are you looking for? I have a couple of large two bedroom, two bath apartments which I am currently offering for $1250 per month, plus utilities. That's furnished and includes Dish TV and Wireless Internet.

You can find lower priced units, but you almost have to be on island and do some networking to find a nice neighborhood and a lower rent. Also, if you have been reading this forum, you probably already know our electricity is the highest in the world. (I don't know that to be true, but it sure seems like it.) So do budget high for that as well. We charge .05 per gallon for water. City water may be a little less. They just had a rate hike, though. Some places don't charge, but you have to participate in buying water when the cistern runs dry. Some places, mostly condos, charge more. Be sure to ask.
