Hey guys. The upstairs apartment of my duplex on STX is for rent. It's a 2 bedroom/1 bath, mostly furnished, basic cable that will allow pets (if they get along with my dog). Rent is $850/month and you pay your own utilities. PM me if interested. Thanks!

Hi, I'm responding to your apartment posting. Where are you located in relation to the Hospital on STX? I have a small dog, very friendly, and a very shy, declawed cat. I'll be on the island the first week in May for a nursing job interview. If you haven't found a tenant by then I would love to see your place. What do utilities typically run for one person? Thanks,

Linda

It's actually really close to the hospital. It's in Mary's Fancy (on the back of the hill). I'm an EMT and have no problems getting to the hospital quickly. I really doubt it's going to last until May though. I'll let you know if it does for some reason.

I didn't know you were an EMT. By the way, any news about Mr Fruity?

Linda,

If your interview is in May, when will you actually move here, assuming you get the position? I have a large one bedroom available mid-late June. Very easy drive to hospital. The current tenant is a nurse. He is moving June 21. The rent is $1000 per month, plus utilities. Furnished, A/C, pet friendly, on site laundry, large balcony, nice area. The last electric bill was $185. Water is .03 per gallon. PM me if you would like to see it while you are here.

Juanita

Thanks, I would love to see your place! I'm selling my house here in LA, it's just too complicated to try and rent it out. It's priced to sell and I don't think I'll have a problem there. The folks at the hospital will hopefully understand that I can't give them an exact start date as it's contingent on the sale of the house. I will PM you as requested and we can exchange info. Thanks so much for posting.
