So your hoping two buy a rod and reel for less than the cost of two gallons of gas. Interesting. I have a few But your budget sounds two tight for these rods.

Yep...5.7L big ass sucks down the gas!

I broke down today & just bought one. If any is interested...Cost-U-Less has rod&reel for $24. It's in no way equivalent to what I had, but I can put a hook on it & go have fun!

All you who couldn't understand how I would not take the time, gas, energy to drive out west, not all of us have expendable income. Things are real tight here for those of us who just live a normal life. Be kind, try to be a tad more accepting & understanding of things you do not experience. Bless y'all!
