We are a couple who is relocating to STT from Tortola. We have been here 2 weeks and are having a tough time finding an apt.. We have been using the island trader, but it seems like every apt/condo is already taken or the LL's never call back.... Does anyone know of an apt for rent..... At this point we will even take a short term rental or a roomate situaiton if anyone knows of them.

My email address is everydaylights@yahoo.com.

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having.

We have a room that is designed for vacatoners, not long term stays. It is available starting 1/10. The room rents for 90 a day and is right over Sapphire Beach. It has a frig, micr wave, TV, AC and there is a pool and a laundry. One of the problems you are having is that it is prime season and there are very few apartments available. If you are intrerested please PM me.

Aimee: That is if they will rent to two couples. Many folks limit the number of inhabitants in the lease.

Hi Aimee:

Something else you might want to keep in mind in your house/apartment search: if utilities are not included, consider that this could increase your monthly outlay by quite a bit, especially in a shared situation where there might not be separate meters (thereby allowing you to monitor and be responsible for your own usage) and/or where you simply split the bills per capita or by the unit.

Best,

Islandlola
