Four Week Yoga Intensives begin in January

Two Four Week Intensives will begin in January. Enrollment is limited to 5 people to provide individual attention.

Introduction To Yoga: Mastering The Basics Level I
3 classes per week for four weeks.
Classes are 90 mins. long and consist of 1 hr. to 1hr. 15. mins. asana (poses) and 15-30 mins. didactic/technique training

Core Curriculum:
Basic asana, pranayama, Science and Philosophy of Yoga, Relaxation, Introduction to Meditation, Yogic Diet and cleansing, Introduction to the Yoga Sutras, Introduction to Ayurveda

Class includes yoga mat (if needed), neti pot, study materials, sylllabus, and the award winning book "Yoga Mastering the Basics" by Sandra Anderson and Rolf Sovik, Psy.D.

The Deeper Dimensions of Yoga: A Four Week Intensive for Intermediate and Advanced Students

2 classes weekly for four weeks
Classes are 90 mins. long and consist of 1 hr. to 1hr. 15. mins. asana (poses) and 15-30 mins. didactic/technique training

Core Curriculum:
Progress in Asana, advanced practices of Pranayama (Ujjayi, nhastrika, Nadi Shodanham, Bhramari) Relaxation (61 points, Yoga Nidra), deepening your meditation pratitce (control of the mind, reducing negative thought patterns), Chakras, Bhandas, advanced cleansing practices, vegetarian diet, Ayurvedic Herbs and healing, Study of the Yoga Sutras and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, mantras, and developing your home practice.

Class includes: neti pot, study materials, syllabus, and the advanced technique book by Swami Rama: "Path of Fire and Light"
