has he looked at the boats for sale at the marinas? There are always quite a few on the market and even some of the ones without signs might be available if he asks the right person.

The bartender at Brew Pub just announced he is selling his. If you look at the marina, his is Alkane. It looks descent. I don't know the length but its over 30ft.. or price. Without a broker it should be good

thankyou, I have gone to the C'sted harbour and walked around, but there are gates on the boardwalks to the boats I can't get in. I've driven through Buccaneer but didn't stop,I guess I don't want to intrude on private property to go look, is there some way I can look w/out causing concern?

you can walk up and down the docks at Green Cay Marina. They aren't locked off. The office also usually knows many of the boats that people are looking to sell. Also ask at St. Croix Marine by the Golden Rail and they may know many of the boats available in the harbor.

I have a 32' 1980 C & C sloop that I'd let go for $45,000. She was just hauled out of the water in January and received a complete hull paint job for $12,000. She looks absolutely GEORGEOUS now, and many have commented that she's the prettiest boat in Christiansted harbor. She has a 15 horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The dinghy is a 9' Boston Whaler that's painted to match. She sails like a dream -- I just took her to St. John and Jost a few months ago.

PM me if you want to know more.
