looking for a vehicle

I am looking for a reliable, running vehicle- car, truck, scooter. I am a nursing student and will be here for at least two years and I need it mostly to get back and forth to clinical sites, but also for general transportation. Any help is appreciated! Thank You.

I am on St.Croix. And I am working with a limited budget, so I can afford no more no more than $2500. Thank You!
