I am currently in search of weekend employment by restaurant owners, deli shops, or coffee houses. there's a bunch of places that are closed right now and re-opening in a few weeks.
You might be able to reach the owners by posting to their facebook pages - I know Good spirits, Bistro (not currently closed), Tavern 1844, Eat @cane bay, and many others have FB pages.
Otherwise, hit the streets and knock on doors. Also try local hotels.
