Hi,
If you don't find anything on St. John, I have a furnished studio in Red Hook. You can walk to the ferry. I know that's not optimal, but it's an option. I don't do short-short term, but would consider a couple of months. http://www.virginislandsrentals.com . Be sure to look at the FAQ's page. Lots of info there. Rent is usually $1200 per month, plus utilities. I would be willing to negotiate, depending on length of stay. Let me know if I can help.
