Looking for short term roommate, apt/room rental, or house sitting situation

I am a 48 yr old professional woman moving down from Florida. I will be on island in STT the end of February visiting friends, and then will be on STX for the month of March trying to secure a job and a permanent place to live. I do not smoke, love animals,
have an occasional glass of wine, and will probably not be around much, as I will be on a "mission"...not a vacation.
If anyone has any other suggestions of where I might stay inexpensively for the month of March, please by all means, fire away.
