I recently relocated to St Thomas and am looking for work. I have been looking in the newspapers and on the Internet for job listings.
I have a solid list of work references.
I am a mature, self motivated multitasker with reliable transportation, and am also a certified scuba diver.
I am willing to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
I have strong customer service skills, computer skills, boating skills.
My work history is in the pool industry, but I am willing to work in any industry.

Does anyone know where jobs are available on St Thomas.

You need to start going to businesses/offices/stores and speaking to the owners/managers in person. Take a SHORT, one page, resume to leave behind. Do follow up calls. This is your best bet for finding a job quickly. You might have to take something short term until you find the job you want. My personal opinion is you need a local phone number, but opinions are mixed on that one.

And to add to Linda's advice- ask everyone you talk with if they know anyone you should speak with. Network, network, network.
