I am in the middle of moving to St. Thomas.
I will be coming down from Nov. 2nd.
Will be looking for used SUV/Car to purchase during that time - hopefully.
Looking for GOOD, DEPENDABLE, RELIABLE, REASONABLE SUV OR CAR.
MUST BE AUTOMATIC -
Must be in good condition - as I am not a mechanic.
If anyone knows any good leads, I would appreciate any assistance!!
Thank you,
53jmoon

You really need to get ahold of an island trader when you get here. They come out on thursdays. This week they had aproximately 30+cars for sale in there. Ranging from $1000 bux to $21000. So plenty to choose from.

You can access The Island Trader on line. Go to the VI Daily News site and scroll down the left side to Island Trader. I think it's http://www.vidailynews.com .

Yes, I know about the Island Trader, I look forward to it every Thursday morning.
I even look at the one from St. Croix, and St. John -
Was hoping that some one might know someone who has a vehicle for sale - you never know, right?
I won't need one until about the 18th of November - So after I get down there on the 2nd, it will give me
couple of weeks to look for one. If I need to rent a car, I can do that for about 10 days as,
i still have to return back to the main land again at the end of November, but will be back down on the 10th of December for couple of months, so this is when I am really going to need one.
I am looking forward to being down there - I am past due about 2 months.
Something that is a puzzle for me - I noticed that quite number of people who say they want to move down there, then they get down there, and next thing you know, they are moving back to the main land. WHY?
Thank everyone for the suggestions/recommendation.
