Is there anyone here on STX who knows QuickBooks inside and out -- not just a monthly accountant? We have an immediate need to have a chart of accounts set up and are willing to pay. This person can be either a consultant who charges us for an hour to show us step-by-step how to do this, or someone who will come in for a day, find out exactly what we want, and just get it done.

Quickbooks is very easy, I wouldn't really advise you to hire someone as some people usually over charge for this service. What type of business do you have? You can set up your own chart of accounts or use the one's listed in Quickbooks. I can give you some free advice before you spend your money. Usually Accountants start with the bank statement and proceed to create books for smaller business's. I think everyone can get this task done without an accountant.
