Any suggestions on who'd want old magazines on STT, alot of National Geographic Traveler, Outside, etc. I HATE throwing them in the dumpster... thought of laundromats, etc but don't want to dump them where they don't want them. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Cathy,
May I share the thread and ask for the same info on St. Croix?
Thanks,
Juanita

Juanita,

I am an elementary teacher at the Manor school. We use magazines in many of our activities. If they are not inappropriate for small children.. i.e. adult mags, bloody war, etc. then we would love to take them off your hands.

Please PM me if they are still available...

Cathy... you might consider a school in your neighborhood also... we really make great use of the printed words and the pictures.

Yvonne

Great ideas, thanks! I remember using magazines for collages in school many years ago.

There's also the thought of taking them to the armory to be sent off to our troops. I have some cousins over seas right now and they say they could care less if the material is dated or not, they just like to have something new to read.
